The Apparel Manufacturing Job Training Academy

Melding Fashionably Business and the Technical Workshops together, The Apparel Manufacturing Job Training Academy will be established as an accredited apprenticeship program. It will be a comprehensive apparel manufacturing job-training program to prepare individuals for the fashion production workforce.

Participants of the Job training academy will take part in Technical Skills workshops to gain the basic technical skills to allow them to be placed into internship and/or apprenticeship opportunities throughout the U.S. Additionally, by housing the training in the same facility as the designers, it allows the members of the Job Training Academy to form relationships with the emerging designers, creating natural business partnerships.
